"Visited Val's first time for family dinner and really enjoyed it. Place well decorated, clean and busy. Menu have great choice and kids menu nicely named. Might portion size is a bit small but it's fresh and tasty. Dessert was the very best part. Had Malteaser mess knickerbocker glory and Etton mess was about to order again how beautiful was it. Service perfect and staff creating very welcome atmosphere. Will definitely go back."

"Brought my daughter to Val's bistro for a Valentine's treat at the weekend and it was well worth it. The whole place was decked out in teddies, lights and hearts and looked great, my daughter loved it. The food and dessert were delicious too. We had our dinner at 1pm and I was full for the day after! Very friendly, prompt service and very child friendly."

"Always enjoy the wonderful food in Vals. Very warm atmosphere and very warm premises too with the prominent fire place inside the front door. Would be great for a single diner like myself if you could activate the subtitles option on the TV screens. It would allow customers to follow the TV programme on the screen if they wanted to and it wouldn’t take away from the background music playing on the house system. Thanks very much.
