"I can't see where I can leave a review but my husband and I were on a trip to the west today and called to the gateway on the way home for a meal, first of all I hadn't been here in a couple of yrs so it was very refreshing to walk in to a refurbished hotel, it felt so homely, my husband had lamb and I had the pasta dish, both dishes were delicious, nice portions and very well presented, we were served by a young gentleman called Shane who couldn't do enough for us, made us feel so welcome and had a bit of banter without been in your face, I have to give him 5 star's knows his job and is a great asset in my opinion to the gateway, not forgetting the girls also were so attentive, I would highly recommend the gateway for it's warm atmosphere, lovely food and lovely staff you all get 5 star's from the both of us, continued success in the future, we will be calling again soon, best wishes Eileen Carberry and Christy Conlon We didn't stay the night"
"Went for dinner in the bar Saturday evening & the food was amazing. They have a great menu & as for the staff they were wonderful. Everyone was very attentive & knew what they were doing. The cosy & stylish interior was beautiful to see & they have a great cocktail menu. My partner & I are looking forward to coming back here to sample the rest of the menu & enjoy the friendly atmosphere."
"A great place to eat and have a few drinks .the food was amazing very well presented served by such welcoming staff .as I have intolerant in gluten and dairy products I was made feel very comfortable and the chef went above and beyond the call of duty with my food . nothing was a problem for the hotel .it's a very well run hotel as the manager called to all the tables in dining room to insure all was well for customer.& Staff were working in a very happy place making time to talk to the customers for myself & my husband it was 10.out of 10"
