"We were in Ireland for 8 days and stayed in 3 B&B's. I would say that the accommodations here were nice. It was a bit chilly in Ireland and the home was very cold (just bring a blanket). Private bath is nice - Shower is very small in the bedroom. The Irish Breakfast is great and very nicely prepared for you. There is also an option of yogurt and cereal if you want a break from the meat breakfast. The main reason we rate this B&B a 3 is we wished our host was more personable. Eating breakfast and you are in a room and the door is shut - no conversations are had and doors are shut very loudly. I would just have liked to have more conversations - learn more about the area, etc. Room was very clean and beds are comfortable.This hotel was fabulous. The staff were exceptional. Could not have been more considerate & kind. It was a beautiful location with stunning sea views. Breakfast was outstanding, delicious with wonderful options. But it was the STAFF that made this hotel stand out. I loved it and had a wonderful stay here and will definitely be back !! Thank you STAFF, each and every one of you stood out in your own unique way and all were kind, respectful, warm, welcoming and chatty. Everyone greeted us with a smile and hello as we walked around hotel ! Exceptional service with a smile in a luxurious hotel with amazing views & atmosphere. "We stayed here two nights, arriving late on a Saturday without a reservation. Frances invited us in and made us feel comfortable right away. The en-suite bathroom was large and well-equipped, and the breakfast each morning was tasty. There's a good guest area next to the spacious garden, if you aren't going to be traveling out. Frances had excellent recommendations for us in nearby Spiddle and Galway."
