"This was simply one of the best holidays we've ever had and in a location that was really out of this world. We got the booking at short notice and at a very reasonable price as our budget was small. The location of the accommodation is isolated and even though the owner will tell you it's only a mile or a 15 min walk to the village the reality is a bit longer. Maybe, a "country mile" and a lot longer than that after a few pints! The only thing I would say is the local taxi man was very handy and reasonable and we used him a lot. The houses were big and roomy and the kitchen was excellent. There was a small issue with some ladies "delicates" left in a bedside locker by the cleaner and there was also, as some others mentioned a lot of spiders but... The house is halfway up a mountain in deep countryside so it is difficult to keep spiders out and they were in reality very small and could be got rid of with a towel very easily. The ladies underwear left behind was also not an ussue. I had breakfast one morning taking the dog for a walk and eating wild blackberries on the road away from the house. The scenery from the house and the various drives we went on was simply breathtaking and if you like anything to do with The Quite Man film you are in for a treat as the location of it and of various elements of the film are all nearby. We even took the tour. Food in the local village is pretty average but pints and craic was good. It is a place I would love to go back to."

Beautiful Stone built holiday homes with old world charm but with all the modcons to make your stay one too remember"

"Lovely family holiday. Break away from it all. Very spacious 4 bedroom lodge in secluded area. Car required. Great base to travel all over Connemara. A must stay. Internet very good so kids were happy."

"Beautiful views, I stayed here over the new year, and absolutely loved it. I brought the family along and it just was such a lovely break away from the city. The kids loved the horses at the property and the Wi-Fi was really good which I didn't expect out there , will stay again!"

"Fab location. Lovely large house fully equipped with all mod cons. Very clean. Large open fire in living room which was great to spend night with friends around it. Easy check in system with keybox details. Friendly staff. Would def book to stay again"
