"I didn't stay at the hotel, instead with only 1 hours notice the hotel laid dinner for our party of 12 on Saturday Oct 22nd. The food was really good and excellent value. The staff were excellent and really helpful. I will be back again for dinner! Highly recommended for food!"

"If the staff wasn’t so accommodating, I would have put less stars. The pictures didn’t seem anything like the actual room. The wooden frame of the bathtub was rotting and falling apart, and the rooms were outdated. I understand that this is an old hotel, but perhaps I expected more. The floor seemed to bend and deteriorate as we walked through the hallways, and the scene while walking through the hallways seemed grim and cold. We got into the room and promptly searched for a new hotel. The staff was wonderful and sold our room that night so we didn’t get charged. I appreciate all of the effort from the man at the desk; he seemed very understanding and personable, asking if we wanted to switch rooms and what we were searching for in a replacement hotel. I explained that it just didn’t look like it’s pictures, and he didn’t make a fuss. He didn’t need to sell our room that night; he simply could have not posted it and charged us the fee for short cancellation but he didn’t. He posted the room and miraculously, it sold so we avoided our fee for leaving as soon as we arrived. 3 stars doesn’t seem fitting; in short. Perhaps it was 3 stars at one point. Again, wonderful staff. Just not what we saw online."
