"It's funny that these charity shops get items from people for free then they charge you near the full price of the actual shops.. I believe in supporting charities but come on that's just taking the P altogether.."
"Best charity shop in town or the west. Anything you need is there plus as for the staff could not be more than helpful. Love it ☺"
"The shop itself is lovely , but some of the staff could use a few lessons in manners , rudeness at it best now there is several other staff members that are absaloutely fantastic, I go into support the charity not because I need clothes infact most of what i buy I give to the Simon community , its a shame that the rudeness from a couple of staff members is very off putting . It cost nothing to be pleasant and courteous to the paying customer ."
"Staff too busy chatting amongst themselves Very dismissive attitude Dropped off a lot of stuff in here over few years I don't buy really as its so over priced for a charity shop clothing from Penny's is nearly always the actual price in the shop as new... If you try and mention this they are very blunt instead of just listening .... I thought charity was to help people out... I think all the staff could do with some customer service training and look at their pricing methods.... There is no logic to it Or what about a discount day... That's helping I was buying some children's books... They each had 10 pages and were soft back... She said 6 euro (I had 6 small books) to which I responded no the small books are 50 cent... She made me feel so awful for it even though she was in the wrong... She said ah go on so as if I was a hassle but had only just pointed out her incorrect pricing when there is a sign stating otherwise... Not only that most other charity shops offer 3 for 1 euro on kids books So I paid my 3 euro and left feeling absolutely rotten I had just dropped off a good leather bag a sack full of men's quality shirts and suits and about 6 "big" children's books I'd like to think some other young mum can buy what I've donated hassle free and get them cheap for her children to read... That's why I gave them I hope your experience is much better than mine, maybe I just keep getting these ladies on a bad day !"
"Volunteer,s are very helpful.lots to browse through.from a teaspoon to a wedding dress..the prices are very low ..also have xtra large cloth,s for male and female.. highly recommend this charity shop which all money,s goes towards local old folks day centre."
