"Fruit compote pancakes here were absolutely delicious. Such a pitty we were greeted with such a rude welcoming. We entered the place past the shop into the coffee area looking where to stand to wait to be served, and we didn't noticed we passed a sign on the side on the floor very hidden marking where to wait. Big mistake. The person in charge came running with an elevated voice tone that embarrassed us in front of the other people telling us that we needed to wait behind the sign and she exclaimed in a very rude way "there's a sign there" as she was lifting the sign and putting it on a chair closer to the path (making it actually visible). And she went on and on for a long while about how the place was so busy and she didn't have enough staff and she needed to make sure everyone was well separated because of covid. I lost count how many times she repeated that. For a person who wasn't wearing a mask she seemed awfully concerned about covid. But come on, it's 2023, we can relax a bit now. Plus the place was half empty!! Literally!! The moment we sat down we wanted to leave because she kept coming to our table, in all fairness, apologizing, but still bringing it on again and again and stressing out on a half empty small coffee shop. But it was a Sunday and we had nowhere else to go. But oh well, the woman seemed lovely to be fair, she was stressing too much and passing that stress to us who wanted to have a relaxing breakfast. I can't imagine what it would be like to work with her. But again, the pancakes were amazing and the coffee was very good."
"Amazing food, very busy but you wouldn't tell as its sectioned perfectly so you have a private booth. Can't wait to return again. My daughter was so happy with her food aswell. The chips were so fresh and crispy."
"Just tried it by chance - great accidental choice. Really enjoyed it. Noticed during the summer that it was quite popular. More seating inside than I expected. Good quality food and great staff. I had the burger. Was a bit overcooked as most do, because I forgot to ask for it medium rare. Lesson learned."
"My friends and I (6 of us altogether) had lunch today in Ann Mc Donald's. Although extremely busy, our waitress cleared and sanitised our table, seated us, gave us menus and went through the specials in details. We ordered drinks first and then our mains. The selection of food was amazing, the portion size was fantastic and not one bite was left on our plates. Only 3 of us opted for desserts and all of us had coffees. Reasonably price for a thoroughly lovley Xmas catch up. I would highly recommend this beautiful little place for anyone visiting. Definite 5 stars. Well done to all staff."
"Cosy little place with welcoming atmosphere. The owner is very nice and friendly really trying to make her customers happy. I wasn't lucky with my choice of fish for dinner but others really enjoyed delicious steaks. The owner offered me extra veggies free of charge when she spotted I wasn't happy with the once from my plate. She also kindly sell me a beautiful cup I had my tea in when it appears that there is none in this color left on the shelves in the shop in front of the cafe. Would recommend for everyone who wants to feel like they're eating at granny's."
