"Location is small but cozy with a lovely atmosphere. Service was great, all staff members were super friendly and really accommodating despite us not having booked previously. Unfortunately the food did not match the rest of the experience, unfortunately all dishes and sides were quite tasteless and at least the sides seemed to have been cooked from frozen. It was edible but nothing more, and for the experience we had way overpriced."
"I booked here for dinner, friends birthday night out and lunch for New year's day. I booked the table in person with Mary, the owner and was assured we had our table for the night. When we arrived I was greeted loudly, across the restaurant with "Sit down quick, you're late!!" We were in fact, not late at all. The mistake was made by the owner. It was so embarrassing, as everyone stopped eating to stare at me, my son and I standing in shock. If I had been there with just my partner and not a hungry crowd of 7, I would have turned on my heels. I have never ever been greeted in such a woeful manner. Even if I had made the mistake of being late, Mary, you should never speak to a customer this way. The food was wonderful and the staff did their best to recover the situation, but it has left a bitter taste in my mouth... And that was not the lemon"
