"Droimnin nursing home was the worst possible choice for my mother to spend her last 9 months before she died. We were promised that all the staff were qualified to take care of her specific type of dementia. Not one of them had the skills , including the director and assistant director of nursing. They were extremely unprofessional and several complaints were made to HIQA with regard to neglect of her personal care and diet. The resulting investigation by the nursing home was carried out by the person about whom the complaints were made. At that point we felt we couldn't do any more. If I could give no star ,I would."
