"Amazing experience at the Tullamore Dew distillery. Heather was an excellent guide, with a quick wit and the ability to tell interesting stories while multi-tasking and leading the tour. We started with an Irish coffee in a comfortable bar before moving to lounge chairs to see the whiskey making process. The walk around the facility was also great and tasting a pot still whiskey straight from the barrel was a highlight. The tasting at the end is also very comfortable and Heather is very knowledgeable about the whiskies, guiding us through the three different samples."
"My boyfriend and I took a spontaneous trip to Tullamore DEW from Dublin on the way to Belfast and it was one of the highlights of our trip. It’s a beautiful property and Daria was a great guide! She had tons of interesting info to share and she made it entertaining as well. She also makes a great Irish coffee. The most special part of the tour is absolutely the tasting in the storehouse.Definitely make reservations in advance- they only do so many tours per day and they limit it to small groups. We did not think to book in advance but we were lucky enough that they could just fit us in when we got there."
"This was an amazing experience! It is a must do for any whiskey lover! Simply the best whisky distillery tour I have done! Our tour guide, Emma, was lovely! She was very knowledgeable and pleasant to follow round. Perfect activity for a perfect day!"
"Definitely the best distillery tour I've ever taken. (Although also the most expensive at 35€.) Our cozy group of 7 allowed us all to hear our fantastic guide Antoinette as she brought alive the story of Irish whiskey, and Tullamore's place in it. A masterful tale weaver, she spiritedly informed, entertained and painted a picture as she prepared a traditional Irish coffee and led us through the beautiful facilities. The tour lasted nearly 2 hours, and connected the "alchemy" of distillation with the "sacred" of maturation. At the noteworthy gift shop, you can top off your experience, by blending your own unique Tullamore bottle with variations on grain, malt and pot-stilled whiskeys (for 75€.) You can also enjoy a complimentary espresso or tea. #TullyTours"
"Probably one if the greatest tours I have ever tried. The Tullamore DEW distillery experience tour is clearly focused on delivering the best experience for the visitors rather than making money from it. The tour started with a correctly prepared Irish coffee and then travelling around the destillery and grounds also having several samples of their whisky. The tour guide was very knowledgable, nice, and helpful. Big praise to her. The tour groups consist of a maximum of eight people, which is really great - having too large groups can sometimes lead to worse tours. Hence, eight people is great. The tour took roughly two hours."
