"This is one of the best shops in the country. Altho a relatively small town, Killaloe is the gateway to Limerick and the midwest. This branch of SUPERVALU carry an extensive range of "Free From" foods, the Happy Pear, and locally grown organic produce .. Great notice / bulletin board with services and events and info posted up like in the old days. Loads of specials and offers. a few years back, this part of the island got their first ALDI shop. That was sited exactly opposite SV. What cheek. So many as you may imagine shop at ALDI. Yet at times, I'd leave SV with more bargains, more quality, more locally grown/ produced goods... And the people that work in SV are pure lovely! Beatiful people. So grateful for such a forward-thinking business in our area. Long may they thrive."
"Staff are generally excellent, friendly and helpful. Just not a good Supervalu compared to others. Deli counter is a rip off, small plain roll with one or two skinny slices of ham was €4. Ingredients value about 50c. Rip off. I got a large roll today elsewhere, bacon, hash browns, puddings, and sauce for €3. Just doesn't add up. Again, can't fault the staff"
