"If you have a chance to avoid this place, do so. I recommend this for the following reasons: 1. Their charge of €45 per hour is outrageous, especially when you consider that you can learn how to fix bikes in a six-week course, maximum 2. Cathal, the man you usually have to deal with, hates what he does, and he lets you know it as soon as you enter the shop. For instance, he talks to you as if he's doing you a BIG favor! 3. I dropped off my bike once to get a minor thing fixed on it, and he charged the rip-off price of €45. It could've been done on the day I gave it to him, but I was told it would be one or two days. So, after two days, to give the appearance of working on it for a long time, Cathal tells me over the phone that I should come by and pick it up immediately because he's out of room. Another belligerent way of doing business when he was the one who took his precious sweet time to fix it. 4. The bike I dropped off was only several months old. I've never used it in the rain. When I came to pick it up, his surly demeanor was on full display when he told me that it was outside in the rain. 5. Anyone working in this shop does not want to help you. They want you to get in and out as fast as possible, after they extort as much money as possible from you. This, unfortunately, is what happens when you have a business that is the only show in town -- vile behaviour and merciless charges to boot!"

"Was on a family holiday in Killaloe when we had a cog brake on a bike. I called in Planet Tri and the man in there (think his name was Cathal) couldn’t have being any more helpful he had the part replaced and the bike sorted in less that an hour.. highly recommend this shop and there is a great level of stock available ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"

"This is a well stocked bicycle shop with a very helpful and knowledgeable owner. All bicycle needs catered for and the shop also sells great coffee. This is a must for any cyclist passing through Killaloe or lucky enough to live nearby."

"Stopped here last week on a bike trek from Limerick with a few friends . Had called on a similar trip a few weeks before - the open for coffee sign having caught our attention. Again enjoyed a fab cup of coffee delivered without delay to the sturdy tables and seating outside the shop . All COVID guidance compliant . Mentioned to them that my bike had developed an irritating noise and in a matter of minutes it had been sorted out and ready to go. Much appreciated. The shop is really well stocked, with many popular brands and Is a safe shopping environment . It is LGBT IQ friendly too. Will call again and if you feel like a treat, recommend that you drop in here."
