"You can get good value with 3mobile... €5 tickets. Nice cinema. Clean toilets. Nice staff."
"Cinema was dirty and in need of a good clean and maintenance please. As you walk into the first viewing of the day the floors were so sticky and not washed, toilets with urinals over flowing and the cinema was very cold, thankful we brought our coats in."
"The cinema isnt capable of playing avatar. And at €15 a ticket it isnt cheap. It looked like one of thosenold bootleg cinema recordings. Not 4k, maybe not even 1080p, washed out murky colours and the sound was way too loud. Informed by manager when we left 5 mins into movie that frame rate on the projector doesnt hit 48fps which the film is meant to be played at so that was the reason (honestly i think the projector was just old or too low quality, it definitely wasnt just a frame rate issue). Told he’d apply for a refund from head office though so cant fault the staff. Definitely wouldnt bother with this cinema."
"Went to Avatar 2 3D last week in the Galway Screen 1 Luxx. €15 per seat. We mainly went here as I wanted to see it on the biggest screen around. It was like watching the film in black and white for most of it, the colour was so poor and washed out. I saw the same film in Omniplex and it was a completely experience. 1/5 compared to 5/5. Avoid for me, I'm afraid."
"Very very poor quality. Went here to watch avatar 2 in 3D as the movie was highly appreciated by everyone for its visuals. But the sub-par speakers and absolutely bad video quality in this theatre spoilt my entire experience. Not at all recommended."
