"Fantastic spot . We booked three rooms here . The rooms were 5 star quality and a lot better than high end hotels Pet friendly , crockery , microwave , fridge and toaster supplied Ursula even had hot water bottles and electric blankets for us Location is fantastic and hard to beat . You are right beside the lake as well as the town . Rooms are very spacious and great value. A hidden gem in Loughrea"
"My wife and I stayed at Lakeside, Barrack Street, Loughrea on the night of Friday 19th August, 2022. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. There was tea and coffee making facilities in the room, with a small fridge in the adjoining hallway for each room. The shower and toilet were immaculate. There are private parking facilities at Lakeside. The lake is literally at the end of the garden and there is access to the lake from the rear garden. The garden is well maintained and very private with a beautiful view of the lake. The proprietor, Ursula, was most welcoming, courteous, friendly and helpful. We got excellent value for money with good accommodation and facilities. Breakfast is not supplied but there are ample restaurants in the immediate environs of Lakeside. We had a very pleasant experience at Lakeside and we will definitely stay there on our next visit to Loughrea. Highly recommended. Thomas J. Murphy"
