"Up to now, have been very happy with my GP in The Medical Practice. Now, a serious pain to get an appointment. Twice been on hold for 10 and 15 minutes just to be told that you need to ring 9 am on the day on which you want an appointment. No alternative. All patients for 4 GPs are being told the same thing, so you can expect the time on hold to be even longer around 9 am. What if you can't get an appointment on the day? Same procedure again next day. How often do they expect people to waste money on hold before you even get to see your GP? Online booking of appointments obviously only directed at private patients as payment upfront required and no option for GMS patients. Also, €10 charge indicated for a blood test even with a medical card which the HSE itself states is a free service for medical card holders. Massive step back in service which is a shame and hence only 3 stars."
"Extremely difficult to get an appointment the week you need it. Walk in surgery no longer operating. Which leaves people in unfortunate position if they can't schedule being sick."
