"If I could rate this hospital with minus stars I would. Please please do not take yourself or your loved ones to this hospital! You would receive better care in a 3rd world county. Healthcare is the pits in Ireland but this hospital takes the absolute p***. Staff are rude, consultants lie & they don’t allow you to have input in your own healthcare. They fail to follow HSE policies. If you are advocating or next of kin of someone dear to you, you are completely dismissed. As I tried to look after my terminally ill mother, both she & I were denied information & I was told as next of kin I’m only an emergency contact & only needed for collections. Your concern’s of care are not taken seriously & misconstrued as abusive. No discharge provided by the hospital into community services, no care plan provided to help provide quality of life at the end of mums life. Avoid this hospital at all costs."
"They've saved my husbands life. They've saved my own. I owe them everything, the staff are amazing, the health care is top notch. Thank you to every member of staff from kitchens to the surgeons."
"Sharing my personal experience. I had an emergency. We went to the hospital on the weekend. Doctors , nurses and other staff are very kind and caring. They treated me very well and also followed the best procedure that was required. It is a public + private hospital. I didn't have to pay anything for my treatment. Thank you to hospital staff for the fast and good treatment."
"Empathic staff, friendly and hardworking from what I was able to observe. Parking is €3 per hour on a tiny car park with some 10 spaces. You're really lucky if you can get one. Wait times are looooong. 2 hours for. Doc to see my sick child. Not the staff's fault, but low staff numbers are prevalent everywhere."
"Deplorable emergency services to be avoided; they don't care about you and won't help you, worse...My daughter had the worst expérience of her life in the emergency of this hospital where she thought she was going to die and all the staff didn't care and lied to her always saying that the doctor would come in a minute; she waited on a chair alone in a little room during 6 hours of interminable nightmare - hourswhile she had heartache, increasing difficulty in breathing and a fever so high that she wasin pain. She cried for help, fell to the ground because she felt so bad, and everyone ignored her. She was suffucating, dizzy, vomiting, they locked her in this little glass room next to a covid case. She had very bad headhache, was burning whith fever, and when she saw finally the doctor, he only asked 3 questions, didn't even oscultate her and don't take her fever, gave her one paracetamol pill only and ordered her to leave the hospital in the middle of the night , all alone and feeling very ill and weak with only paracetamol on the prescription. When i called to ask about her i was told that she was doing very well and had been discharged from hospital. All liars. What revolting incompétence!"
