"The shops had a great selection of female low heel boots, possibly the best in clonmel. I'd recommend if you have a small shoe size with narrow shoes However if you're a size 8 or 7 do not come here The sizing is horrible. I work in a shoe shop for us a 42 is a size 8, here it was a 41 which isn't there fault like expected the shoes I wanted were to small so i asked for a size 42, they were impolite and said only three in the store. So I tried them on and again they were to tight on my toe. I wasnt assisted in finding andy shoes that could fit.i wanted shoes and was prepared to pay anything for em I feel like the service here is impolite and a bit lazy"

"I had a really disappointing experience shopping in Moroney's shoe shop Clonmel today. I need patent leather shoes to wear as a groomsman for my brother's wedding. The lady was very helpful. However, she suggested shoes that were not appropriate (as they were not patent) but fit perfectly. There was not a pair of patent shoes in the shop that fit me. I said I'd buy them but show my family to get further advice. At this point the helpful lady did not explain that the shoes could not be returned with a full refund. She said nothing. When I showed the shoes to my mother, she pointed out that the shoes were not patent. We went back with the shoes after just 10 minutes. We were told that they didn't accept returns. They give credit notes instead. Only then did she point out the policy in the wall. It had been 10 minutes and I'd not even got into the car and they refused to refund. It's frustrating because I mentioned I needed to check and was told nothing. I feel this was unfair and actually underhanded, unprofessional behaviour. At the start of my career, €89.99 is expensive, especially for shoes I won't wear. I have to say it has left a very bitter taste and I most certainly would not recommend Moroney's for this lack of disclosure under the said circumstances."
