"WOULD GIVE 0 STARS IF POSSIBLE. SCAMMERS. My MacBook Pro screen went black back in October, took to the select store the same week and payed a fee for the diagnosis, a few days later received an email with the service order number with the amount to be payed if I wish to continue with the service. In the SRO the problem stated was display with backlight issues and the solution would be to replace the display. I made the decision to not continue with the repair because the price was half the price of a new laptop (800 euro). I continue to use the laptop attached to an external monitor. Last month I decided to do a factory reset on my laptop and when I turned it back on the screen came back, and is now working normally. I feel like I was scammed, they clearly didn’t do the proper diagnosis of my laptop since my screen has been working just fine, I would have paid over 800 euros for nothing. I emailed the costumer support and didn’t hear anything back, not a recognition of their mistake, not my 50 euro back which I paid for the wrong diagnosis. It makes me think about getting an apple again since here is Cork this is the closest place to have costumer service. I wrote my review on trustpilot they made a comment to give them my details and again no one contacted me. I leave my details in case they will leave a generic respond and will give update if they will reach out. I reach out to Apple as well will see how they respond. My is SRO101009411"

"Today this little Canadian lady went into this apple location for apple assistance. The store was nicely place and very easy to find. Thanks google maps! The team who was in on February 21, 2023, between the hours of 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm were extremely helpful, understanding and patient with my repair which was a complete mess. Thank you so much."

"Don’t buy from Select! Their returns policy makes it clear that they do not value you as their customer. Background: I received an Apple Watch as a Christmas present, which was not compatible with my iPhone 7. I opened it before realizing this, but never used it as it didn’t work with my device. Because I had opened the box, their policy is to not give any refund. I think that the fact that the watch is only compatible with iPhone 8 and above should have been made clear at point of purchase, rather than just relying on the small text on the box. Obviously the watch wouldn’t have been bought if we had known this and we wouldn’t be €300 worse off. Refusing to refund a product which is in perfect condition, for no other reason that the wrapping had been opened once, not only diminishes consumer confidence in a brand, spreads negative feedback about a store through word-of-mouth but also destroys customer loyalty as there is no way they would return after a negative experience. Best advice: stay away from Select!"

"The guys in Compu B are really on the ball. They know what they are talking about and I don't think there's much they don't know about the products they are selling. I like the friendly atmosphere and the shop is laid out really well. The staff are very enthusiastic and helpful. They always seem to remember you and your issue if you need a second visit. Only con is they don't sell any other electronic brands. But if your an Apple fanatic this shop is for you!"
