They always have a great choice of performers and for me it's the perfect venue: Big enough to have great vibes, small enough to still have a more intimate feel to it. So just the right size. Even the mosh pit is usually easy to get to. By far my favourite venue in Cork."

I realise it was jazz weekend, but a bit of communication that the bars were being closed to clear us out before the next gig would have been appreciated but sure."
"Great venue in the heart of Cork, often pulls in bands that you wouldn't expect to see in a smaller club venue for amazing shows. Great for supporting local music too. Only mild complaint is that the bar often gets way too crowded at shows - would love to see a tap-n-go beer/water bottle section as well as the bar so you can grab what you want and get back on the floor. Best kept secret - there is a cloakroom around the back of the bar. Don't screw with the bouncers. They're nice but they WILL boot you if you start messing about with the fire exits etc."
