"Thank you for this nocturnal welcome. The building is atypical but we didn't miss anything. The bedding is comfortable, the greenery around exceptional and what about the hostess. What kindness, what care for his guests. We will be sure to return on occasion. Thank you so much."
"We had high hopes as it looks good online and there were nice reviews, however our experience was not so good. We got abysmal directions as it was out in the middle of knowwhere and quite specific detail needed be given to tourists. We had to ask people in Midleton the way and they were amused to hear it was stated to be in Midleton. Further, although I love a bit of shabby sheikh, this went beyond that. Shabby sheikh should not mean a paucity of amenities. Would have love bedside lights, decent heating and hot water in the bathroom (in fact any water would have been good as the bath/shower was barely a trickle), The room itself in the loft, or attic, had sloping ceiling, maybe attractive to a few, but felt to us to be quite claustrophobic. The room was at the top of narrow and quite dangerously pitched stairs. Great for mountain goats but not for people getting on in years. On arrival after 7pm, quite late as we we had trouble locating it, we were bruskly reminded of the check out time without any concession to our troubles."
"Stayed in the very top of the house, the room was warm spacious and very comfortable. Had a great night sleep and breakfast was top class and Kamala was the perfect hostess."
"Beautiful location. Lovely rooms & Kamala, the owner, is the best. The breakfast was AMAZING! She even sat down & engaged in real conversations; made us feel like friends. Highly recommend this B&B, but it is about 7.3k away from the train station, so, having a car is best."
"We loved it. Away from the other tourists, in a quiet nature spot. We did not have our bathroom en suite, but it was just outside in the corridor. We were the only guests, so I do not know how it is when other guests are around. Breakfast was perfect and so was the hostess. If you want something different, charming, authentic, a place surrounded by nature, definitely go. If you want a modern, sparkling clean place, this may not be your cup of tea, but I doubt that you will regret."
