"I recently booked an appointment at Wax Central as I wanted to try out a male hollywood waxing session and I had heard great things about Wax Central! The staff: The staff are great here and from the moment you enter until the moment you leave they are very friendly. They are also very professional and made me feel comfortable even though I was rather nervous considering that this was my first time. Since I am a man I had to book with Noreen as she is the only technician that caters to male clients. She made me feel totally comfortable from the second I met her. She is very chatty and talked about everything which helped getting over the embarrassment/nervousness that I had. The Hollywood: The service that I choose was a Hollywood and it leaves you completely bare! It is a thorough wax that will remove every single hair from the back to front of your intimate area. The Process: A layer of oil is applied to the skin to create a protective barrier between the skin surface and the wax. Then the wax is applied in a slightly thick layer and let to set. As the wax cools it shrink wraps itself around the hair. Once it is fully set it is removed taking only the unwanted hair away and leaving the skin far less irritated than traditional waxing! Tip: You hair needs to be about the size of a grain of rice e.g. 3 weeks of growth from your last shave or 4 weeks of growth from your last wax. Overall Experience: The staff at Wax Central are great at their job and will make the experience as pain free as possible and will make you feel very comfortable even if you are feeling a little embarrassed!
