"I had booked for a wash, cut and blow dry for my birthday. I was nervous as I had not been to a salon in years. I had my appointment confirmed via phone. Hair was washed, and straight to blow dry. A number of times my hair was wrapped around and stuck to the brush. The girl who was drying my hair did not speak to me, only to ask was my hair straight or curly. When finished, I went to the desk and asked was there a problem with getting my cut as she said I was finished. She said she changed the appointment to wash and blow dry only and I showed her my booking confirmation. The salon was closing but the owner said no problem she would cut my hair. I told her I was looking for a trim and long layers. While I stood getting an inch cut off the ends, I didn’t get a chance to show her a picture of the cut I wanted. She took the sheet off me and said we were done, that layers can’t be done in long hair and I already had layers (my hair is at different lengths due to not having a cut in years). I have an undercut which is outgrown and there was no suggestion of cutting it. I am now leaving 1.5 hours later after paying for an inch of hair trimmed instead of the actual cut I had hoped for, on my birthday. I was anxious but looking forward to the experience but I will not be going back, and will certainly not be so quick to trust someone with my hair anytime soon. Really disappointed."
