"Had lunch in the restaurant today. Food was well prepared and staff were polite. However the place has seen better days. It took nearly an hour for the main courses and the tables were left uncleaned for more than half an hour. Lots of little flies around."
"Lovely hotel, rooms were really clean and comfortable. Had an issue with hot water in our room but was resolved very quickly. Staff were really friendly. Nice breakfast and food in the bar, and a really convenient location."
"I like to see credit where credit is due. It is not advertised as a 5* Hotel but well deserves a Four star rating. The service is five star standards. We stayed over night for the Ocana festival. To celebrate Captain Ruben Ocana's amazing landing if you don't know about it I recommend reading about it. The service from the staff was exceptional great service. The food was tasty. The beds were very comfortable a great night. I would recommend Thanks."
"4 People went for a carvery in bar on a Sunday. Ordered 3 Steaks and 1 Salad. When the Steaks arrived plate was cold, Steak was lovely, and came with mushrooms/onions drizzled in what looked like oil, and chips. No side salad or anything........Just looked basic for almost 30e. The salad looked good only full of lettuce, not much of anything else in it. When soup was ordered came with no bread, and when asked for bread came in cling film and no plate. My2 slices of brown bread consisted of 2 crusts. Had to ask for butter of which bread had to be buttered on the table. Staff were mostly foreign and not very friendly. I won't be going back in a hurry again anyway. Sorry to say......."
"AVOID!!!!!!!! Myself and a few friends went for dinner today and were applauded with the capability of the staff in the bar. Myself and a friend ordered a chicken burger. When I was a few bites in I realised that the chicken was raw. Myself and my friend returned our burgers to the kitchen. Where I was told that my burger was fine. We went to pay and I refused to pay and only that I had photographic evidence of the pink chicken I would have had to pay for the chicken burger. However my friend had no photographic evidence and was made pay for this meal. The staff were so rude and obnoxious about the situation. When we remarked that food poisoning can be fatal a staff member laughed at us. Service was extremely slow and in my opinion staff are extremely incapable. I will NEVER BE RETURNING."
