"A wonderful bed & breakfast run by the most helpful and kind hostess one could ask for. We stayed for several days and both the lodge and the cottage were beautifully designed, clean and welcoming. The location is great, quiet, with beautiful views and only 5 minutes from the beautiful town of Bandon. You won't find a better B&B in Ireland! Thank you so much for everything Gwyneth!"
"Gwenneth is such a gracious host. We felt very well taken care of indeed! The location feels very private - set on the elevated grounds of a stunning family farm with gorgeous sunset views. We stayed in the one bed garden lodge room which looked even better in person than on the photos, spotlessly clean and super cozy. The bed is so comfortable and it is well set up with a lovely kitchenette that caters to all your needs. I would highly recommend this spot for a peaceful getaway. It's a short drive to Bandon so also nice if you want to drive into town. My only regret is that I was unable to stay longer! Would love to go back soon."
"We stayed in The Brown Hen for our Summer holiday with our two children. It's was absolutely beautiful, set in the picturesque countryside on the grounds of a family farm. Our host Gwyneth was really welcoming and informative on the local attractions and amenities. The lodge we stayed in had two bedrooms, two bathrooms, dining and kitchen area. It was absolutely spotless and housed everything you could possibly need. Certainly we will be back again."
"What an absolutely wonderful place to stay. Gwen is the consummate professional in ensuring that all aspects of your stay are carried out to perfecton. The accommodation itself is beautiful with the most glorious view of the surrounding countryside in this beautiful location. The room is furnished to a high standard with a terrific selection of lovely teas and coffees provided as well. The home cooked breakfast is the finest you'll eat on these islands. I really cannot recommend this establishment highly enough."
