Reviews
"The staff were very short in their manner, and very unhelpful, made me feel like I couldn't ask anything including help"
"Usual good experience shopping in boots but knocked a star off for dirty windows with flies and cobwebs not a hygienic look for a chemist been like it over 12 months"
"Nothing is a problem always happy to help"
"Convenient for me, but the place seemed cluttered and under staffed, those there were efficient but not overly engaging."
"I have been a GP for 10 years and prior to that, a senior A&E doctor for 20 years. I acquired a minor conjunctivitis which I have self treat for a week to no avail, to which I feel at this stage an antibiotic drop is warranted. I came to Boots Sandbach to request an over-the-counter Chloramphenicol antibiotic eye drop but the pharmacist seems to have the gall to disagree and decline with my request and suggested a completely useless eye drop instead, lecturing me about eye infection management as if I haven't a clue about the work I have been doing and the same advice I have given to my patients for years and years - and doing it publicly no less, in front of the entire queue, which add to the insult. It would seem I cannot diagnose and manage a simple eye infection myself after all these years working all over the UK and Republic of Ireland. How strange a pharmacist seems to have the authority to override a doctor's clinical opinion. AND she is aware I'm a GP. Absolute disgrace. I ended up having to travel all the way to Boots in Crewe to get it, the pharmacist there was most understanding and helpful. I have been a loyal Boots customer for years before I came to Sandbach and I have never receive such unprofessional treatment. Boots Sandbach will never get another penny out of me again after this. I'm moving to a different pharmacy. I refuses to be treated and insulted like this."
