"I have used Friarswood the last 2 times for my Dog. A lovely place with fantastic staff. The vet I saw, Naomi, is amazing. So much patience as my dog HATES the vets. She didn't push to examine him but looked and listened and gave plenty of strokes to him which hasn't been done anywhere else before. They always jumped straight in which made him anxious from day one. I cannot praise her enough. Thank you from me and Diesel!"

"It's the first time I have been to this vets and my Jack Russell terrier, Bandit, unfortunately had to be put to sleep. I can well recommend this surgery for their heartfelt consideration and compassion which is excellent. I broke my heart at the loss of Bandit as we have had him over thirteen and a half years. He was about sixteen years old and still loved life. RIP."

"I don't know how good they are. When I asked them to see my dog who was struggling to breathe they said they weren't taking new clients. The lady I spoke to was very pleasant though but I can't recommend Friarswood as they refused to see him. I have given three stars based solely on the nice lady but from the point of view of helping me and my beautiful whippet boy, and we live five minutes away, I wouldn't rate them any stars at all. What happened to helping people with a seriously poorly pet whether you are registered there or not. How can you refuse to help? It seems to me that these people have lost the reason for becoming a medical professional in the first place and this practice are unfortunately not on their own. Profit has become the most important aspect of these very lucrative businesses."

"If medication and advice is all you need, then this vets is fine. However, I would not recommend this vets in your hour of need. After our poor dogs cancer suddenly took a turn for the worse one day, we contacted Friarswood to explain that our boy was really suffering and that we unfortunately needed to look at end of life care for him as soon as possible. We were told he couldn't be seen because they needed to stay free for 'emergencies', we told them our boy was losing a lot of blood, so they said he could be seen if we could get him there in five minutes. Five minutes we had to get our best friend of four years into a car and down to the vets, not only was that difficult, it was impossible. After contacting a fabulous alternative vets, who were there within the hour, we sadly said goodbye to our gorgeous boy. We have since received condolences from the alternative vets, the creamation company, and even our insurance company, but we are yet to hear from Friarswood. After over four years of going to this vets with our boy, spending thousands and thousands of pounds, his very sad passing has simply been ignored and forgotten about by this vets."
