"What a shambles! I booked my vehicle repair at Hall Auto Repairs, arrived early on the arranged day and got a taxi to my office. An hour later their poor office girl was given the task to ring me to say they were short of staff so I must collect my vehicle, which they couldn’t re-book until next month. She then strangely offered to ‘send a man in a van’ to do the work on my drive. Obvious question: if they were short of staff who would they send and why couldn’t that person just do the repair in their workshop? As I was paying £580 for a repair to a £60k vehicle I couldn’t accept somebody ‘doing their best’ on a grey, drizzly day on my drive. I then spoke to the boss and asked why he couldn't re-book my repair before next month (when I would be on holiday) and why my cancelled repair wouldn’t be the next to be done when his staff were back. With no hint of concern for my wasted time, expense and inconvenience he said I was unreasonable to reject the offer of a mobile repair on my drive and then made the even more bizarre victim-blaming claim that I was ‘trying to jump the queue’ by requesting that my repair would be the first to be scheduled once his reported staff shortage was resolved. It’s when things go wrong that you find out what a company are really like so you might want to think twice before becoming the customer of a company that blames YOU when things go wrong. Imagine the response from this outfit if you weren’t happy with the colour-match or workmanship of their repair to your vehicle – good luck with that!"

"Had Liam come out this morning to repair damage to my rear bumper, where a van's rear step had punctured a large hole, and he has done a fantastic job, as though the damage was never there. The bumper looks like new! Such a professional bloke, friendly and punctual. So easy to use their services, plus great value. A highly recommended company!"
