"Diagnosed the problem of a melted resistor, broken motor and faulty wiring loom within the heating unit and quoted me £450 including labour + £40 diagnosis fee, he made it out like he got the price down from over £1000. I took my car somewhere else where they only needed to replaced the resistor within the heating system for £90 including parts and labour. Make sure you’re not getting ripped off, especially as a woman who they assume don’t know about these things."
