"Good place for bargain shopping."
"Yesterday was looking a gift for Her with my two kids..right from the door the security guard followed us to each section and where ever we are going..now a day kids are smart and feel it..we were noticing it few minutes..my daughter took a chocolate to by..I stop shopping and left the store..it was really very offensive..that was not the first time really..we decided not to go this store next time..felt ashame..the secure company should must teach the member the ethics of doing security and I think this is not a professional behaviour..if they have doubt or doing job they should must be expert in it and watch someone in the way that they may not even feel it or feel offensive.."
"This store has been a stable dependable welcoming , helping store from been a small child, I liked it then. Not many if any can say that, Well Done Boyes x"
"Boyes Holderness Road is generally cheep and sometimes cheerfull depending on who's on duty, on that I bought 2 t-shirts on the recommendation of a visiting manager as there was an offer buy 2 for £12, one was the wrong size and he suggested to exchange the other at another Boyes store which I never got around to doing, that was on the 12th August , I wore it once to a pro edure at Castle Hill Hospital and washed it the next day following the instructions, unfortunately my washing machine broke down and I couldn't get it out for a couple of datmys, were my mum rewashed items as instructed, she told me there were 2 small holes on the back so I took it back on Bank Holiday Monday, were The Rude Assistant manager told me it had been "well worn "and would not replace it,she said as I did not bring my origmginal receipt "I had no proof of purchase" I Challange Angela Feelan, showing her my bank statement in my App on the telephone, she tried and failed to find it,Staying, " it proves nothing "you could of bought anything,I told her it had only been worn once etc etc a d she continued to disrespect me, I asked her to wright down her name and asked when the actual manager was in duty, so long story short, the snide weasel manager when he found proof of purchase ,said he would change or refund it as a gesture of good will" instead of having anything about him and offering any sort of Appolgy, I'll be trying Any other store before using Boyes again."
"Boyes on holderness road is a brilliant shop it sells everything that one would require from clothing, pots and pans , fishing equipment , stationery and gift cards.plus paint of all kinds for inside and out and of course brushes and rollers which with out these you wouldn't be able to apply once you have chosen your goods take them along to the till and you will be served with a smile and because it's open on Sundays should you have run out of anything you're able to put that right and now where only a few weeks away from Christmas they have a good selection of Christmas item's such as jumpers ,tops Christmas designed pots , wrapping up paper and lots of other goodies well worth a visit to holderness road in Hull on the opposite side of the road to boyes there's the holderness road Methodist church where we married in the month of April 1980 after visiting the church recently we have noticed the changes a part of the church has had a cafe added they open tue and Thursday across dinner. The dinners can be small or large to everyone's taste, we had a bowl of soup with bread and a cup of tea on the other hand you can have a full dinner the prices are very good and well worth a visit should you be shopping on holderness Road"
