"Spanish Lady just back from a 4 Week Holiday at Thornbrook...Happy as ever...Thank Linda and Staff for making her stay to be Safe and Happy...See you in September .. Love Madeline and Tim and Lady"
"PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG HERE. Within a few minutes of arriving, the woman was telling us that we were feeding her wrong (her diet is approved by a vet, so we have not been concerned). Our puppy was extremely nervous and yelped at the sight of other hyper puppies. The woman lifted our pup and held her up to the others stating ‘they would maul you.’ We were horrified to see the small concrete cell she threw our pup into. Within a few minutes of deciding we weren’t going to let our puppy stay here, the woman had already given her fish to eat (resulting later in a bad case of diarrhoea) and she was covered in it! The kennels are so insanitary and tiny, not to mention open to the outside so extremely cold. Absolutely heartbroken that dogs have to stay here. Edit: I called 2 months later because that is when we seen your deleted response to this review, and wanted to clear the air. I will no longer be responding to this nonsense and I stand by my original review. I wish all at Thornbrook Kennels well."
"We left our 5 month old Cocker Spaniel at Thornbrook for 4 days. She was socialised with other pups her age and seemed to have had a great time during her stay, so much so that she followed Linda back into the kennel! Linda has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to dogs and is always there for help and advice."
"We bought our beautiful Cocker Spaniel, Alfie, from Linda. He is now 16 months old. He has stayed with Linda on numerous occasions and loves it! Linda is always on hand for advice and gives him a great groom when he is with her. She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to dogs, and it is clear to see that she has a genuine love for them. He is an indoor dog&never has any problems when staying at Thornbrook."
"We were well pleased when we used Thornbrook Kennels to board our dogs..Stanley is a 13 year old dog with Pancreatitis thus on a special diet and medication, which must be adhered to. Linda had no problem in taking care of Stanley and also giving his ear wash and drops on regular days..He returned home yesterday in great form. We have had him in Thornbrook on a regular basis for several years..he always returns home in top form, hopefully glad to get home but the better of his care with Linda and Ron We thought long and hard this year as Stanley has been very ill over the past months, but found to our relief 'The bold Stanley',, went into his compound, give a quick inspection and settled himself into his bed, content as flowers in May, Well Eddie, our 13month mad pup settled in and was near to Stanley, which give him a good start in kennels ..."
