"Certainly no frills about the Barholm but clean and the staff were very helpful. Had an evening meal in the Narrows which is linked in some way and the food was very good. No licence so BYOB which was great. Excellent plentiful breakfast. GREAT VALUE."
"Very caring and helpful caretakers. Clean but old rooms. The view from the place is breathtaking. The food was very good too. We stayed as a group of 24 people for a week at this place. Had a great time."
"Great location right on the shore front opposite the ferry. Dog friendly which the the main reason for booking. (Wood beside Barholm ideal for dog walks.) Basic overall and odd layout but reflected in price. However rooms were very clean and comfortable with substantial breakfast choice. Staff friendly and welcoming. Tip - bring hairdryer if needed."
"This place doesn’t deserve even 1 star. It was like a squat. The general decor was squalid with wardrobes with no doors, mirror sat on radiator, ancient mattress, heavily stained carpets, I can’t even start on the bathroom as i refused to use it. The noise in the place with men coming and going, shouting at each other down the hallway until just gone 3am....it was such a horrendous stay that we got up and drove back to Comber. I have never stayed in a bed and breakfast in Poland so i wouldn’t know what is viewed as ‘acceptable’ but ‘I’ personally have never stayed in such a dive. There was no way on this planet was i going to attempt the breakfast if the hygiene of the place was anything to go by. I am totally baffled by any positive reviews for this establishment."
