"Absolutely beautiful beach. Glistening water, fine sand and driftwood galore. The sun was shining and the doggo had a whale of a time. There's a free car park (with height restrictions) and also on street parking on the road leading to the car park, for those with bigger vehicles."
"Great place to take the dog. You can walk for miles & miles along the beach. Unfortunately there are no shops or facilities so bring what you need."
"Beautiful spot at North end of Aberdeen beach. Frequented by seals that haul out on an island by the bridge. Good walks south to Fittie, North past Blackdog and Balmedie beach to Newburgh or west along river to Persley Bridge (11km circuit using both sides of river)"
"Awesome place for a walk, quiet and next to the nature."
"A lovely little stretch of beach, which is far quieter (and just generally nicer!) than the main Aberdeen beach. It’s also got a fair bit more character, and on occasion I have caught glimpse of seals (or maybe selkies?!) disappearing into the water at my presence."
