"Breakfast was definitely the highlight (five stars), and staff friendly and kind (five stars). The room on first floor was a bit of letdown (2 stars) and reason for low review, noisy and a bit cramped with sloping ceiling so head restriction. It was expensive so expected some half decent. There was a certain lack of privacy, the only door to the room was directly at the bottom of the bed and had gaps, right next to the corridor near the stairs. Just didn't feel very private and quite. Be careful walking along the road at night if you venture out."

"It was pretty much perfect. The room was well equipped and furnished - with a large, comfortable double bed and high quality duvet and bed linen - as was the bathroom with a large shower cubicle and excellent rain shower. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly and the food and service in the Potager restaurant were both impeccable. I particularly appreciated my hot breakfast, consisting of scrambled egg and smoked salmon, sprinkled with roasted, crumbled walnuts and capers and the decor throughout the public areas of the hotel was attractive and easy on the eye. I would strongly recommend the hotel."
