Reviews
"Absolutely worth visiting and we came second time. The beach was long and white sanded, although the wind is slightly heavier than the ones inside the bays. The way from the car park to the beach was lovely too, cows and horses onsite to interact with."
"Stunning beach with the backdrop of the Mourne Mountains Lovely board walk leading to it, quite long so prepare to possibly carry little ones back out!"
"The dunes are simply spectacular, what a great nature reserve that is. It is a very nice place for a walk, either alone, with the dog(s), or with the family. For those who are really into walking, why not hit the beach and take a breathtaking walk down to Newcastle? You will be delighted in any case."
"Beautiful place to visit. Great walks down to beach and what views of the Mournes and the sea. Car park is well laid out, plenty of space and ideal for picnics. Importantly there are public toilets - these are spotlessly clean despite little supervision well done NT."
