"On the 30th of August 2019 my Service Provider "Your Repair" sent Wilson Heating Limited round to my flat to service my Gas Boiler. The two men who turned-up had no tool-box with them but as I had spoken to John Wilson less than an hour earlier on the Telephone I let them in. But they actually stole items from my flat and to add insult to injury my Boiler was not serviced at all. Beware of engaging this firm and allowing them into your home!! Not a Trustworthy firm at all!! Footnote: If you look-up the GAS SAFE REGISTER you will discover that John Wilson Heating are NOT listed on there so you can draw your own conclusions about that! But always safer to use a Firm who are listed on this register."

"Our oil boiler burst and we were without heating and hot water. I phoned round several businesses to try and get someone to do an urgent installation but was told it would be weeks or months before they would be able to help. The fact we had 2 very small children didn't seem to matter. I found Wilson Heating online and thought I would give them a phone. John was very quick to provide a fair quote. We accepted and the installation was booked in a couple of days later. We are really happy with the quality of the installation and the few minor issues we had were sorted out fast. "I think what is most harmful about John Wilson is how he plays to your emotions. He will come off as entirely sincere while he offers comforting words and seems to relate to your plight. But I can assure you, he is faking it. The reason this man has some high-star reviews is because he is good at selling and installing boilers. That's the part of his business that is lucrative for him: he can easily make a large sum of money fast. But John Wilson is a one-trick pony. He is good at the easy stuff: straightforwardly installing a brand-new boiler, from which he is making a big cut. However, once you have gone past the initial purchase and are locked into a warranty, John Wilson has no interest in dealing with you, even in emergency situations. He makes empty promises about showing up, and then ghosts you while you wait patiently and wonder what is going on. Pro tip: If you are trying to reach John Wilson while he is ghosting you, just phone from a different number. He or his partner Charlene will then pick up right away and feed you lies. Also, if you hire John Wilson to take care of other plumbing issues, be prepared to be told your boiler needs to be replaced. He will happily sell you a new one! As for handling plumbing issues that have nothing to do with installing a boiler, forget about it. Big disappointment."

"We used Wilson Heating to replace an old (15+ yrs) gas combi-boiler with a newer more efficient one. We were happy with the quote, John was good at discussing different boiler types and warranty options. Communication in the lead-up to the job was good, and the job was completed in 1 day as expected. The workman was respectful and tidy - clearly taking pride in the presentation of the piping beneath the boiler. He walked us through the operation of the new boiler and cleaned up before he left. The new boiler is controlled by our existing NEST controller which is great. Follow up was good and the boiler is working well. Very satisfied."

He even took into account the terrible snowy weather and offered to push the job back as he knew we were concerned about being cold.
