"I ordered 4 x tyres using laws online booking website on Thursday 26th Jan. The website stated that all tyres were available from 28th. I booked a 1 hour slot for the fitting using the online booking schedule for Mon 30th at 9am. As a private hire taxi driver I worked this timing in with my own working schedule, refusing booking requests during this time which is (unfortunately) necessary to get the new tyres fitted. The site accepted & acknowledged my order and created a new Job and Job Number and sent me an order confirmation email. On arrival I waited on site whilst the job was being done. After 30 mins I was informed that they have only received 2 of the tyres I ordered which have been fitted to the rear of my car. I was informed that the 2 tyres are not on the premises and no longer available online however available at the time of order with no idea how this happened or where they had gone. In addition they had no similar tyre on-site that they could fit at that scheduled appointment. In order to complete the job on this visit, I was offered 2 x tyres at double the cost per tyre. I was informed that in order to complete the job with similar tyres, they would need to order another 2 and I would have to return another day. This whole process had taken 55 mins and I left feeling very disappointed in how this played out of what should have been an easy, stress free process. I do not understand why this only come to light on the visit and not identified earlier (perhaps during delivery) and why I was not informed prior to my booking, so an alternative booking could be made to complete the job on 1 visit rather than 2. I now must take additional time out to travel to laws to complete a simple order of replacing 4 new tyres on a single vehicle. I have always used Laws to supply tyres for my business however shall now reconsider this option to seek an alternative supplier for all my tyre needs as this has left me feeling very unsatisfied by wasting valuable time & money in lost business."
