"Absolutely gorgeous food (VERY expensive mind- a one off kind of thing). I had french toast with a mascarpone whip and berries- OMG delish! Plenty of vegetarian options, sweet and savoury dishes. My only gripe is that the place is very hot and cramped, we were virtually knocking elbows with the people next to us, and the heating seemed to be on full whack! One tiny toilet available. So yes it's scrumptious, but we paid barely £40 for brunch (including coffees). There are cheaper places on Newland avenue to eat and get nice coffee, this is a particularly fancy place- planet coffee over the road from here gives you more bang for your buck."
"One of my favourite places for good coffee and brunch! Mexican eggs has my vote over and over again… the best fresh coffee too. Cosy, friendly atmosphere and attentive staff. Perfect for families, friends and dogs. I love BARISTA!!"
"Very good, friendly and accomodating service with an upmarket menu with fresh quality produce. Unfortunately I had a bad experience due to spinach being washed incorrectly and ending up with grit in my mouth. Whilst I received great service, the second attempt produced the same result. A table top salad Spinner would be a great purchase to prevent this from happening again. The green super smoothie however was absolutely delicious and the presentation of the Royale that I ordered was great but grit in my mouth is not something I want to experience."
"Lovely breakfast! Beautiful presentation. Friendly staff. Will be back again soon!"
"Staff were nice. Coffee was halfway decent. Breakfast was above average in both presentation and taste. Place was busy and is obviously popular. Personally, ranks 3rd in top 5 breakfasts in Hull. The Holy Brunch by far being number 1 Thieving Harry's is number 2"
