"Great service, lovely staff, food excellent."
"Fabulous service. From you walk in, you are being made feel welcome. Fast service, and very friendly staff. And the food was great. Will definitely be going back."
"As per usual the food did not disappoint. Being going here since it opened. Everything from starters, main, dessert and atmosphere was fabulous. Table of 9"
"We ate in Carlitos a few weeks ago. Really enjoyed it. We both got the Cajun chicken pasta dish. Tasted fabulous! Also lovely as a takeaway too."
"Weirdly contrived, surprisingly scuffed in appearance. Impressively generic. The dining experience was strange and sub-par and salvaged only by the quality of the wings. All the drinks and food orders were taken in the waiting area where we were initially directed, despite half the dining area being available. We literally saw the table we were assigned while walking in, and watched it sit empty while we awkwardly sat in the waiting area for 15 minutes — with a reservation, to boot! Also there were a bunch of nail holes in the wall, sus. They had a sign that said allergen menu was available upon request and when we asked… they ripped that poster off the wall and gave it to us? It had numbers and allergens but there was no corresponding menu with the numbers so it was useless, very strange. They seated us right by the bathroom, had to ask for music to be turned down because the hallway/room was perfectly built to muddle sounds — couldn’t hear anyone in my party, even the people I sat next to. Light fixture on one side above the doorway seemed to be ripped out(?) of the wall so it was also strangely low-lit. Tables were kind of narrow and the table set-up (4 2-seat tables pushed together, one side against the wall so we had to slide in. The tables were slightly rectangular and some of the middle ones were rotated so both the level and the width of the table was uneven) was weird. Food was fine, wings were fantastic but the sauce was extremely weird (hot sauce that was not hot but instead tasted of Worcestershire and soy sauce? Strange combination and did not go well with the wings, very glad we asked for the sauce on the side). Other starters were fine. Main courses were OK, except the bolognese that had strange taste and texture (allegedly reminded the orderer of dog food….). They forgot a starter, mixed up a couple of sides, and were spotty with drinks. One of my party members asked for her pasta boxed, and another serving staff put a side dish ON the pasta during the table clear out, and they gave her the boxed pasta that had touched the bottom of the side dish anyway. So unsanitary! To sum it up, let’s just say it’s reminiscent of the places Gordon Ramsay visits in Kitchen Nightmares, and I’m more than happy to never step foot in there again. 2 stars because it wasn’t outright terrible food or service, just a very strange and uncomfortable dining experience."
