Welcome to The Nature Collective in Southampton, a unique institution that combines different elements to provide a truly remarkable experience. Our establishment can be found at The Garden Society, located on Allington Lane. We are a pet store, a point of interest, a store, and a non-profit organization all rolled into one.
At The Nature Collective, we are passionate about promoting a deeper connection with nature, and we strive to create a warm and welcoming space for all visitors. Our pet store offers a variety of animals, including exotic species, to help broaden your horizons and provide education about the natural world.
Our point of interest element means that visitors can come to learn about the many different aspects of nature, including identifying different species of plants and animals, and learning about the critical role they play in sustaining our ecosystem.

"Bought some tropical fish here to restock my tank. Staff friendly and helpful and good selection of tropical and marine species and everything else you could possibly need. Great"
"Thanks to Katie for making up a stunning artificial flower display in a lovely Broste vase for us this morning. It’s exactly what we wanted!"
"Beautiful garden centre with a lovely cafe. The aquarium is well stocked with a huge array of different and beautiful fish. Very helpful and friendly staff. Really enjoyed my visit."
"Truly really great staff. The advice is always spot on and always felt to be made welcome with the thousands of questions we have asked over the past year. Great to see the store being taken over by the Garden Center, have bought a fish tank from here (with countless fish) and soon with probably be buying a reptile! Keep up the great work guys! Update: correction - *bought reptile!"
"I left this store feeling physically sick. This used to be an Aquajardin and their enclosures used to be something I would aspire to. Your enclosures are appauling. Roughly 8 crested geckos in a completely bare 45x45x60 exo terra terrarium. No foilage and no branches, all huddled on bare glass with far too much of a size difference to be housed together, several with floppy tail syndrome due to lack of appropriate husbandry. A dropped tail displayed in the centre of the enclosure and another with a cut mouth, clearly from fighting. When questioned your staff said that the plants melt so you don't bother. I'm so heart broken to see that all those little lives are in your hands and I really hope that one of you reads this and seeks to improve their quality of life."
