"Lady at the Asda Pharmacy, Bridge of Don today was very helpful and asked for guidance from the pharmacist to help me. Thank you"
"Do they ever answer their phone? Was told by doctor that prescription was emailed over & should be ready for collection later that afternoon. Phoned several times to check if it was ready, never answered once. Went to pharmacy at 8pm to be told that no email was received. Phoned doctors practice next day & they assured me that prescription had been sent day before. Again, tried phoning pharmacy several times & still no answer, just rang out then dropped the call. Not well enough to keep going back & forth into shop to check if it's arrived & ready for collection."
"I'm no pedant, but I arrived at the queue at two minutes to six. This particular evening they were due to close at six. By the time the queue had gone the pharmacists own clock was still ticking literally in the seconds leading up to six, but the shutters were down. There were three staff still there, and one of them told me they were closed. I told them it was before six, pointed at their click, and she said "but the barriers are up, so you'll have to come back at nine tomorrow morning". They were very uninterested and all scurried off like rats up a drainpipe. If it was important heart medication I needed, I'd be goosed. The moral of the story is, be there long before closing time."
"Always a long queue. Not very private for asking questions with the background noise from the store. Nowhere to stand and wait away from other customers. Was in to collect 1 item yesterday and was in the queue for half an hour-ridiculous. Was in store today for shopping and glanced over at the pharmacy-there were 16 people waiting in the queue(around 4pm on a Saturday when there can't be prescriptions!!) Totally ridiculous and I've decided to go to another pharmacy in the area as sick of Asda pharmacy."
"I visit this pharmacy twice a week and it's very much hit or miss. Staff are either fantastic or utterly vacuous and disinterested. In either case hopelessly over worked and under staffed. Whatever time you go and whoever's on duty make sure that you have plenty time. I've often felt I'll die of old age long before any illness."
