"I am devastated that you butchered my Cartier Love bracelet! You assured me that putting a single diamond back in place (followed by several others that fell out while in your care) would be done in a professional manner but now it is ruined. I was so upset when I collected the bracelet but felt I couldn’t make scene in front of your other customers and felt pressured to accept your “it was the best I could do” line. On reflection, I cannot hold my disappointment and upset back. The repaired section of the bracelet feels rough, the lines between the diamonds have disappeared and the diamonds aren’t even aligned properly! Photograph attached to compare the repaired section at the top with the original section at the bottom. It looks like a first year apprentice was let loose on his first job! The re-sale value of my bracelet has therefore been destroyed and I will now have to have it mended by Cartier themselves, something I wanted to avoid to put 1 x single diamond back in place. If you didn’t have the machinery, the skill or the expertise to execute this job, you should have told me. This is your responsibility towards customers. I will send you the bill you have now caused me incur for the second time."
