"Fab budget hotel, it didn't feel like a budget hotel. Nice and New, everything very modern and clean. The breakfast was fab, especially the freshly made waffles and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend it. You would need a car as its quite a bit out of town, but it didn't bother us as we drove up from Fife. I would go back again if I was visiting Aberdeen in future."
"This was an amazing stay. It cost around £60 for a family of 4 to stay overnight. The room was minimalistic but could've maybe done with some more towels - which in all fairness we could've phoned down for. The reception staff were very friendly and very helpful. The location was around 15/20 minutes away from the city centre - near AFC's training ground. Breakfast was from 6 - 10 am which consisted of a full cooked breakfast buffet, cereal, toast, pastries, fruit juice, hot drinks and various fruits. The gym was small but actually exactly what you would want. Under 18's are not allowed unless accompanied by an adult. There is also a nice bar on the ground floor with non alcoholic drinks available too. All in all a lovely hotel. Would definitely recommend compared to other chain hotels."
"Excellent stay. Really friendly staff and good value for money. Excellent provision for specific dietary requirements. Unfortunate building site next door resulting in picking up a punctured tyre."
"Comfortable rooms, in a location just outside Aberdeen. The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming...and even more so after we had to return to say that the room we'd been allocated hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests! The beds were unmade, and there were dirty towels all around. Mistakes happen, of course, and it wasn't the receptionist's fault. Rooms were fairly minimalist, and very clean and tidy. USB ports in the sockets. Twin beds were 3/4 double bed size, which made them more comfortable. Firm mattress. Nice bathroom with large shower. TV was, for 2022, rather small. Maybe I'm just getting old though! Breakfast was very reasonable. The cold selection consisted of cereals, plain yoghurts, packaged croissants, bread, slices of cheese and ham, apples, and bananas. Hot options were tomatoes, bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, and mushrooms. We asked about veggie sausages and were told there were none. Various coffee and tea options. Cartons of soya milk, and gluten free bread and croissants too. No napkins - but we were given a box of Kleenex instead! All in all, a decent night's stay at a very good weekend price."
