"Outstanding service delivered by a friendly and professional estate agent, this is why we always choose Timothy A Brown. We trust and depend on them to provide us with sound advice. Over the last 10 years we have instructed them on the sales and the purchases of our homes. We found the team very professional, and nothing was too much trouble when we need support or advice. I would highly recommend Timothy A Brown."
"I've just been through a really traumatic time having to leave my rental property that my landlord put up for sale with TB. The whole process was probably the most stressful thing I have ever been through, however the sales team at TB were all so understanding, compassionate and tolerant. Having said that the Lettings department seemed to let me down as they promised me first refusal on new properties that came available when the first property I applied for fell through, but that never happened. It was all so stressful. I spent 3 weeks in hospital due to stress from my experience over the past 5 months regarding the moving process. I really feel like it's about time some estate agents deal with tenants with more respect and understanding. As a previous home owner of several houses I can confirm the service you get when buying or selling a house is a completely different one to being a tenant. We are still humans and deserve to be treated the same as everyone else. I'd like the add that I have a disabled son and TB were excellent when it came to viewings and working around my son."
"A bit of confustion at first we applied for a property to rent and was told no pets when we pointed out it was an assistance dog the owner called me and aplogized credit where credit is due and they arranged a viewing."
"I found the property very easily from the map supplied by the agent. A very nice gentleman arrived on time to show the property and was as enthusiastic about it as I was myself! I have spoken to two ladies in the office who are both very friendly and helpful and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the agency."
"Good agents, genuinely helpful, good at getting back to you. Only niggle is we had a few properties we were interested in independently valued (for peace of mind) and they came back at between 10-14% less. We were told around 10% is average to allow buyer negotiation and higher could be sellers wanting the agent to put their home on for a higher price point than recommended and not always reflection of the agent. Problem is, I was concerned about putting in an offer in case the seller was convinced their home was worth more than it was. Not all buyers like to haggle. Will keep my eye on properties through agent (as they are friendly and nice to deal with) to check if it wasn't just an odd 1 or 2 that sellers had hoped to get a bit more for."
