"Having seen some of the reviews I would like to give my opinion on my families experiences at the practice. My nan has been unwell recently and yes I understand there is a frustration around gp appointments recently and I believe this is widespread but as soon as the gps saw my nan was unwell, they responded with care, compassion and did everything possible to help her . I cannot thank them enough for their care and attention and she is now back to full health having regular checks to keep an eye on her progress. All staff even down to the reception ladies went above and beyond. Keep up the good work!"

"I’m going to be doing everything in my power to report this surgery From leaving me this poorly for 3 years with no answers to now risking my job life and everything else they’ve done nothing but ruin my life from the day I registered. They are worthy of being called a practise and I refuse to stop now untill this place is investigated absolutely disgusting how they treat patients."

"Despite the deserved and excellent glowing reviews this practice receives - I still see that the overall rating appears low on google. This is purely because in the past - some some 'winging' and impatient, rude patients have stated to be unhappy and felt it necessary to groan online. Under difficult circumstances (especially recently) I am delighted to report, again, that the entire team at the Village Surgery do a brilliant job. During extended spells abroad I received numerous communications checking I was keeping up to date with medication and vaccinations - What care and service!! To the moaners I suggest that if you treat the staff at Wolstanton with the respect they deserve - and show gratitude and patience - you may well change your opinions and review or delete your dreadful and critical unfair comments. "I would like to thank Dr.Mannion for his excellent service to the practice . An outstanding doctor who always gave his best , highly knowledgeable with astute expertise in his prognosis. I had great trust in this doctor who gave me confidence in knowing I would always receive the best possible attention and care . I wish him well in his much deserved retirement but I am extremely sad as he will be impossible to replace . Friendly , caring doctor with immense experience who gave outstandingly service in a very personal manner . Truly outstanding !"

"Cannot fault this surgery one bit. Quick to answer phones and pleasant responsive receptionists/doctors. Many times I have called and half expected delays and difficulties obtaining an appointment and they have yet to disappoint Whatever you are doing during these difficult times keep it up you doing a fantastic job.."
