"very clean rooms. nice staff at reception. but there is no elevator and rooms are expensive."
"I wasn't expecting a great deal from this hotel on a University campsite but I was very pleasantly impressed. Comfortable clean room, tea & Coffee making facilities and any staff I happened upon were extremely pleasant. Great value for a bed for the night. The Park Bar next door was fab too. Didn't eat there but enjoyed the drinks and ambiance"
"90's decor. Functional. Frustrating that conference windows don't remain open, you have to prop them open with something. White boards and projector if you need them. If more than 2 rooms of the centre are in use on the day there will be a constant queue for the toilet as there is only one! Plenty of parking around the centre. Next door to the pub too, so you can have a well warned drink after the meeting. Small shop in site, you can also get food and drink from the library, which is a short walk."
"The check-in process is not ideal. The water pressure for the bathroom sink is terrible, just a trickle of water from the cold tap. One of the bathroom towels had mould stains on it. Loads of noise outside from people leaving the nearby bar kept us awake."
"Basic conference centre Hotel. I have stayed in many university conference centre hotels, this definitely is the cheapest most basic of them all. Loughborough, Nottingham and Warwick are the best. Not impressed that check in is often closed, states open till 6, but arrived at 5 and it had shut. Had to phone security to get access. Does not really feel like a hotel as any out of hours issues either contact security or sort it yourself. A premier Inn offers better comfort and breakfast. Rooms are nice and clean. But you can hear noise from neighbouring rooms / the corridor The location is very convenient if needing to be at the University. Breakfast, the cooked options were OK. I felt it lacked a good continental and healthy choices, small amount of fresh fruit. Fruit juice machine was not working and there was only one coffee machine so queues could quickly build up."
