"Always an enjoyable experience and huge nowadays with several show rings and lots of exhibitors. Plenty of parking space. Can be accessed by a bus service from Brockenhurst train station. The bus is free if you've pre-booked your entry ticket. Plenty of refreshments available and places where you can sit down."
"This show was amazing. We have been to many many shows but this one is huge. Plenty for everyone of all ages to do. The surroundings just add to the feel of it being a country show. Definitely worth the visit. The fish and chip bus was also fantastic"
"I was a bit disappointed this year especially given it has not been on for two years. It seemed lacking. I did not feel it gave the knowledge of the forest as well as in the past. Not enough local food produce there was so much sweets and confectionery I wish I had bought a picnic. Even the ice cream vans was all Purbeck (although lovely) not new forest. Bins was overflowing. The positives are kids entertainment was fabulous as well as the stunt men. The countryside arena really does show the working of the forest and is very informative. This does make the ticket price fair there are many other displays such as axe men and farm animals it’s very easy to spend the day. It is a great family day out. Parking and traffic is amazing for such a huge event. Plenty of toilets and they are kept well clean. The grounds are too apart from the bins. Tips for people visiting Traffic and parking is always fine both ways as long as you don’t arrive at peak times. The shuttle bus is £3 if you have a show ticket it’s free so book in advance as tickets for the show are also £2 cheaper online. A lot of stalls card machines have no signal there is a 2.5% fee to withdraw cash on site so bring plenty. Look at the timings of what you want to see on the show grounds online before and plan your day. Wear shoes/boots not sandals the gravel on foot ends up everywhere. I could not find a juice for sale on the whole site only fizzy drinks, milkshakes, smoothies and coffees so bring soft drinks. I did not see any free drinking water either. The food is really overpriced but part of the day. There is a quiet area for picnics with blankets provided."
"Amazing experience. So much to see and do. Beautiful animals, yummy food, fun shopping, talented artists!!!"
"We have been to the New Forest Show 3 times now and thoroughly enjoyed it. There is so much to do for the adults and the kids. Take you camera as there is so much to take pictures of. The craft tents are amazing if your looking for gifts and Christmas present ideas. The old fashioned machinery is to educate the kids on how things worked before electricity! The horse, sheep, dog and bike shows are brilliant if you can get close enough! Bring a chair and get there early for a spot if you want to watch them. Go and stroke the sheep and goats etc in the animal enclosures. They have a massive kids area to entertain them with abseiling, climbing, bouncy castles, educational activities too. (Get their braincells working especially that they have switched them off during the 6 weeks holls)! Book online and you will get the tickets cheaper. Love the way kids are free too. Great day out. Lots and lots and lots of walking!!!!!"
