"Beware! Always get quotes in writing. I had been dealing with another branch of Huws Gray for some material, but needed delivery from Derby. The other branch had already quoted for 5 tons of sand and some blocks with delivery from Derby, but when I called the Derby branch they claimed they couldn't find the quote reference. They generated another quote for the same materials, which was almost exactly the same. They delivered whilst I was away. When I checked what had been delivered there were 4 tons of sand missing. When I called the Derby branch to query this, they told me that all that had been quoted / ordered was 1 ton of sand. As I didn't have anything except the original quote from the other branch in writing I didn't have a leg to stand on. Beware, these guys are a bunch of cowboys."
