"When the I booked the appointment I asked specifically for gel nails. When I arrived I asked again just to make sure and was told that yes I was getting gel. Sadly huge problems with communication as I expressly asked for gel nails and have been given acrylic. This was my first time having my nails done so I didn't know the difference. They applied gel powder which when I looked it up was actually acrylic. My auntie was also with me and she specifically asked for gel nails and she cannot have acrylic as her nails been deeply effected through illness. I am incredibly disappointed as this was my birthday gift. The nails themselves are beautifully done but they are not what we wanted and asked repeatedly for. We believed them when they said it was gel we were getting."
