"Booked a much needed haircut online using the Booksy app for at 11.15am on Thursday 5th August. I turned up early at 11.05 to find the place closed. I waited around for 25 mins and still a complete no show. Haircut was even confirmed via email!! Ended up getting haircut two doors up at Cresswell Barbers who where kind enough to squeeze me after explaining what had happened even though they were extremely busy. Will never use Uppercut again. As I cannot reply to your reply I've had to edit my last review above. I did not receive any message from you either via text or email to advise me you were running late. Furthermore, I waited until 11.30 some 15 minutes after the booking and you still hadn't arrived. I left Cresswells around an hour later and you were still shut. How can I give you any more than a one star rating when I didn't even have a haircut. The rating is based on my experience and the experience started and ended with me waiting on the pavement outside. Rather than apologising for the issue you have reverted to insults and a demonstrative attitude. Not good business practice or customer service. I think you're the one who needs to get a grip of your attitude and business!"

"I was looking for a new barbers and my wife recommended Uppercut Barbers. I went for my appointment and was very happy with the cut. I had my hair cut by Mike Cutz and he done a great job. He asked me what I wanted and each time I went he listened and did exactly what I asked for. There is also an app where you can setup a free account and use this to make bookings for your next appointment. There is always parking outside which is free for an hour or so. They are always on time when compared to my old barbers and you can also get your hair cut without making an appointment. Overall I had great service from Uppercut Barbers."

"Been coming here for over a year now, and all the barber's here are well trained and headed by Carl who is always accommodating. He's always fast and efficient and seems to know what to do and always gives advice on styles and products to use. Low waiting times and great service and care given at all times. Very good value for the money too so can't go wrong. Keep it up guys see you soon."

"Great shop, the lads were friendly, chatty and really helped me out. had a very poor cut from another barbers and they managed to salvage it and gave me a top quality cut. they was only going charge me a fiver. I paid full price at £11 which to me is value for money compared to other barbers and a little tip too. will definitely be returning to them in future."
