"Excellent range of products, fresh vegetables and artisan breads. Friendly service, mostly volunteers. A true cooperative! Interestingly, the prices here are often below the High Street supermarket prices. Definitely worth getting to know!"
"A great place to get organic and /or local fruit and veg. The variety of foodstuffs and ingredients is astonishing. You can bring your own bottles and containers to buy dishwashing liquid, shampoos or rice, pulses, dried fruit or pasta. The staff are friendly and responsive. And to think it is all done by volunteers.....hats off!"
"Lots of zero waste / plastic free and organic & wholefoods options here. There is a huge range of cereals, nuts and dried fruit, grains, seeds, pasta and rice, soaps, laundry liquid and fabric softener etc available which you can fill your own containers with, plus a good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, and fresh bread. Many vegan and health food options, vegan cheeses, kombucha and suchlike. I like the number of glass and paper packaged products, great for if you're trying to cut down on single-use plastics. Friendly helpful staff. Love supporting these small shops and co-ops."
"This was my first time there and I'm absolutely smitten. There's a great range of food as well as household products available. There are bins of serve yourself nuts and dried fruit etc., tinned goods, packet goods such as pasta and even a facility to re-fill your washing liquid and fabric conditioner bottles. The range of fresh fruit and vegetables looks great and the bakery items include sourdough bread. The only minor negative is the limited parking though I was lucky enough to find a space right outside. You might have to park a bit further away sometimes but that's not a great problem. Oh, yes, and I love the fact that the Co-op is owned by members and run by volunteers. The man who served me was friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. A brilliant shop and long may it continue."
